MINNEAPOLIS,
Oct. 7, 2004 — The Minneapolis Public Housing Authority (MPHA)
today broke ground and unveiled design for a 102-apartment, state-of-the-art
community for seniors on a prime site in the landmark 76-acre
Heritage Park redevelopment. This $14.2 million HUD-funded project
will be the first senior housing the city has built since 1972.
